Briefly describe your position.
"I will be joining the Financial Analyst Program in the Financial Institutions Group of Wells Fargo. The position primarily entails analyzing a company's financial, operational, and management strengths and weaknesses in order to determine the risks associated with extending credit to that company. In addition, the role comes with the responsibility of identifying credit issues and recommending methods to reduce exposure associated with a given project."
How did you first learn about this role?
"I found a posting for an on-campus interview for this position on the SJUcareers site. I applied and was granted an interview with Wells Fargo in the Career Development Center."
How did your SJU education impact your professional goals?
"My academic record at SJU and the sterling reputation of the Haub School of Business served me well in the interview process. The individuals I interviewed with had high regard for SJU students and alumni and I was able to leverage that regard to make myself a desirable candidate for Wells Fargo."
Did you participate in any experiential learning opportunities while at SJU?
"I had two internships during my time at SJU. I worked at Morison Cogen LLP, a tax firm in Blue Bell, PA, in the spring of 2017, and at Nationwide Insurance in Harleysville, PA, in the summer of 2017. I found both positions through the SJUcareers website."
