Tell us a little bit about your internship position:

I attend think-tank meetings, hearings on the Hill, and private sector meetings representing the company. I follow the government in regards to trade and trade agreements preparing clients for what may change with the new administration.

How did you land your current position?

I have this internship thanks to The Washington Center and my advisor for pushing me to take this opportunity.

What is some advice that you would give to students who are currently searching for internships/who are about to do their first internship?

Students should definitely utilize The Washington Center Program that offers internships in the Spring, Fall, and Summer, which can be in the private sector, government, or non-profit world depending on the student's interest. It's a 15 week program of working Monday-Thursday, taking one night class a week, and seminar days on Fridays. I highly suggest the program as a senior if a student wants to work in DC after graduation!
