Tell us a little bit about your internship position:

I managed and analyzed over 300 project portfolios of $100K - $2M distributed to project sites in Europe, Asia, Africa, as well as Latin America, resulting in secular and cyclical project completion. I also assisted in closing financing agreements, communicated with senior economists and trust fund managers to document the conclusion of international development projects with entries in ESMAP database. In addition, I consulted with senior managers in India on strategic planning in the development of the new ESMAP website.

How did you land  your current position?

I applied and then was interviewed numerous times throughout the school year. In addition, I attended networking events to put a face to my resume.

What is some advice that you would give to students who are currently searching for internships/who are about to do their first internship?

It’s never too soon to start thinking about an internship because you will receive exposure and learn a lot while becoming more familiar and comfortable with the process.
