Welcome to the College of Arts & Sciences Assessment web site. This site contains information about both learning objective assessment and the institution-wide periodic program review process, as well as other assessment-related items.

The goals of the CA&S Assessment Program are:

1. To aid departments and programs in the development and periodic evaluation of student learning goals and objectives within the context of the degree granting program (associates, bachelors masters and doctoral programs).
2. To facilitate the development and implementation of assessment mechanisms within departments and programs to measure student success in attaining the stated learning goals and objectives relating to their degree program.
3. To assist departments and programs in the process of self-evaluation, external review and strategic planning as part of the periodic institutional program review process.
4. To provide a venue by which information about assessment can be shared throughout the college.
