Office of Teaching and Learning

Supporting the Pursuit of Teaching Excellence

The Office of Teaching & Learning supports the pursuit of teaching excellence by fostering reflection and campus-wide conversations about teaching and encouraging the adoption of practices that enhance student learning. The OTL sponsors programs that help the faculty reflect on their own teaching and learn from colleagues' experiences and diversity of expertise.

Saint Joseph University provides teaching resources focused on inclusive learning, interdisciplinary and collaborative student learning, essential syllabus information and the impact of AI and the future it has on higher education.

The Office of Teaching and Learning offers three kinds of programs - individualized consulting & peer reviews, faculty learning communities and workshops & seminars- geared towards the success of the faculty and their students.

With all the hard work and dedication Saint Joseph's faculty give to roles, their students and back to the institution, they are recognized through grants and awards for their success and accomplishments.
