In November, WORCs Executive Director Gerald Murphy, partnered with ShopRite Supermarket in Parkside and The Office of Councilman Curtis Jones to distribute turkeys for Thanksgiving. With the help of great volunteers and employees, 60 turkeys were distributed at the ShopRite store and 20 baskets were distributed to Wynnefield residents full of turkeys and holiday trimmings.
