Recovery Rally and Speak Out

The Annual Recovery Speak Out will be held in the Perch at 7pm on Wednesday, November 8th.  This year will be the 10th Annual Recovery Speak Out at SJU!  Each year, we have a different theme but focus on how we can speak up for those in recovery and speak out against the stigma associated with substance use disorders.  More information coming soon….

At this event, numerous students in recovery will share their story and answer questions regarding college life in recovery.  Each will share a snapshot of what life was like before, during, and after their substance use disorder.  Afterwards, anyone from the audience is invited to ask questions of the speakers or share anything they want to support recovery at SJU.

This event is a powerful display of courage from Hawks who are living with a substance use disorder.  All are welcome to come, listen, reflect and speak.
