September 29 – October 2 is your weekend to Live Free!!

The Live-Free Weekend is a chance for you to live your life free from the influence of alcohol, marijuana, and other substances. It offers us a chance to step back and look at how our attitudes about alcohol and drugs affect our day-to-day lives. Those involved will live free from pressure to use substances and live free from the guilt that often comes with its use.  Live Free Weekend is also an opportunity for those living a sober lifestyle to affirm their choice and feel supported by the Saint Joseph’s University community.

To participate, you accept the challenge of no substance use for 96 hours.  You will receive a wristband and are asked to wear it throughout the Live Free Weekend.

Sign The Pledge to Live Free

I pledge to go alcohol, marijuana, and other substance-free for 96 straight hours from Noon, Thursday, September 29th through Noon, Monday, October 2nd.

*Or, I already live a sober lifestyle and use this challenge as a means of affirming my choice.*

I commit to put forth my best effort during this Live-Free Weekend.

Use #LiveFreeWeekend to let us know you signed the pledge and encourage others to sign up with you.

This Live Free Weekend is taking place at Saint Joseph’s University, Villanova University, and Drexel University!  The goal is to use the power of collaboration among the local schools to enhance the Live Free Weekend for all involved.  There will be events on all 3 campuses open to all students and we hope the collaboration will help create new friendships, enhance connections, and make this Live Free Weekend the best one yet!
