What is the Community Navigator Program?

An initiative of the American Rescue Plan, the SBA Community Navigator Pilot Program is designed to reduce barriers for underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs and improve access to programs and resources they need to recover, grow, or start businesses. The program includes a “hub” organization at the center of a network of “spoke” organizations that engage trusted community advocates to support small businesses.

How Saint Joseph's University supports Community Navigator

The Office of Veterans Services at Saint Joseph's University continues its support of veteran small businesses through its participation as a spoke organization in the IVMF veteran-serving network of the Community Navigator Pilot Program in Pennsylvania. Reach out to us for assistance in locating resources available through partner organizations of the U. S. Small Business Administration. We offer training to new and growing small businesses through our Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans, offered annually. Additional training is available through the SCORE network and Small Business Development Centers, offered virtually and in-person across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
