The Student Health Center is open during the Academic Year Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30. No walk-in appointments are available at this time. The health center will be closed from 1:00 pm – 2:00 the first Wednesday of each month for staff development. For infection control issues, well visits will be scheduled in the morning and sick visits in the afternoon.

Well Visit Criteria (8:30-10:30) 20 minute appointments

  • allergy injections
  • anxiety/depression
  • blood work
  • insomnia
  • TB test (Test cannot be administered on Thursday); Results must be read within 48hours.
  • sprains/strains
  • STD test
  • urinary frequency, urgency, painful urination

Sick Visit Criteria (10:30-4:30) 30 minute appointments

  • Abdominal pain
  • Skin infection, wound infection, rash
  • Ear pain/ear infection
  • Symptoms of COVID-19 range from mild to severe illness. Symptoms can include:
    • fever or chills
    • cough
    • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • fatigue
    • muscle or body aches
    • headache
    • new loss of taste or smell
    • sore throat
    • congestion or runny nose
    • nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
  • COVID-19 testing (close contacts, surveillence)

All students with symptoms of COVID, regardless of their vaccination status, will be tested. Vaccinated students will be instructed to self-isolate while awaiting test results, which usually take 24 hours. Unvaccinated students will be placed in isolation housing while awaiting test results.

Unvaccinated students with symptoms of, and all students who test positive for COVID-19 are asked to complete a Self-Disclosure form. Students that are identified as a close contact do not need to complete a Self-Disclosure form.
