Most medical problems are initially evaluated through walk-in care by a nurse who is able to treat many of the illnesses and injuries common in college populations.
Appointments are made for further evaluation/treatment/referral by a physician or nurse practitioner.
Students are asked to schedule appointments for physical exams.
It is important to know that waiting times will vary depending on the number of students arriving at the same time and the availability of staff. Typically, the busiest portion of the day occurs between the hours of 10 am to 2 pm.
Students in need of emergency care when the Student Health Center is closed should call
Public Safety at 610-660-1111.
