Briefly describe your position.

"J&J's Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a two-year rotational program that allows participants to complete two one-year rotations within the organization."

How did you first learn about your current position?

"The Cooperative Education Program introduced me to J&J and FLDP during my freshman year as a few alumni returned to campus to share their respective paths at J&J. After working at Independence Blue Cross during the fall semester of my sophomore year, I landed a co-op role at J&J for the spring semester of my junior year. What originally was an offer for a six month co-op, became an offer to join J&J's FLDP program that summer. In addition, I was able to work in a part-time capacity during my senior year."

How did your SJU education impact your position?

"The abundance of networking events through different organizations in the Haub School of Business and the Co-Op program was critical in learning more about potential career opportunities."

Did you participate in any experiential learning activities while at SJU?

"The experience and professional development opportunities offered to me through the Cooperative Education Program provided me with an advantage when compared to other candidates. In addition, to the ability to graduate in four years with over a year of industry work experience, the accelerated academic structure of the program surrounds you with a close-knit community of other driven students."
