Healthcare Food Service Intern
Tell us a little bit about your internship position:
"I worked as an intern in the Food and Nutrition Department at Brandywine Hospital, one of Aramark's Healthcare Accounts. As an intern, I helped manage 30 hourly employees, created new marketing material, worked on the execution of both retail and patient services and input data to account for food waste and consumption."
How did you land your current position?
"I learned about Aramark through the SJU Spring Career Fair. After the career fair, I reached out to the Aramark recruiter and applied for the internship position online."
What is some advice that you would give to students who are currently searching for internships/who are about to do their first internship?
"Take advantage of SJU events and networking opportunities! SJU has so many great events on campus, such as the career fair, networking nights and resume building events. When I was a sophomore, I met an SJU Alumni at the career fair and she has became such a great resource and mentor for me when applying to internships."
