"I conducted profitability analysis on different insurance programs in order to maximize our profit in niche areas and demographics, and implemented dashboards for company departments to easily access and utilize their data."
How did you land your current position?
"I heard about the opportunity through a campus presentation and applied online, and then my dad's friend forwarded my resume to someone he knew in senior leadership."
What is some advice that you would give to students who are currently searching for internships/who are about to do their first internship?
"Be confident and bold - your personality and enthusiasm matter so much more than what is on your resume. Oftentimes students believe that a high GPA and extracurriculars is all they need to land an internship, but what really matters is how you come across to your potential employers."
