On Sunday, February 10th, from 6am-8am, MySJU Administrative Services will be intermittently unavailable. During this time, system upgrades will take place.

On Friday, February 1, 2013, from 10am until 10:30am , the Blackboard Collaborate Building Block and SafeAssign Building Block will be unavailable. At this time, both Building Blocks will be upgraded to the latest version.

In Blackboard, instructors are getting the following error message after clicking the ‘Save & Next’ button in Grade Center:
“An error occurred. Contact the System Administrator.
For reference, the Error ID is e4724328-305e-43de-b248-edf408f4b41c.”
In the Blackboard Pilot, instructors are getting the following error message after clicking the ‘Save & Next’ button in Grade Center:
“The requested page could not be displayed. Please try again. If this continues, please contact your system administrator for assistance.”

Please be aware that there are two planned IT outages this weekend that may impact your work:
Blackboard will be unavailable on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 5AM until 7AM for Blackboard application maintenance.
Campus Pack and SafeAssign will be upgraded to the latest versions.
The Cascade Server (CMS) will be down starting at 7AM on Sunday, June 24, 2012. During this down-time we will be upgrading our current version of Cascade to Cascade version 7.0. The Cascade server should be back online by Sunday evening. Please make sure you have submitted and published any unresolved work that may be open before this time. When Cascade is back online, use the following URL: http://www.sju.edu/webedit to access Cascade. Also, please be sure to update any bookmarks you may have saved in your browsers.

On Friday, June 22, 2012 from 5AM until approximately 9AM, all network services will be intermittently unavailable in certain campus locations. These services include internet access, sjuwireless, e-mail, Banner, Blackboard, network share drives and network printers.
The purpose of this outage is to make network infrastructure improvements.

The Campus Pack Tools within Blackboard will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance on Sunday, July 24 from 5am – 7am. During this time all Campus Pack tools will be unavailable.
This will also include Content: specifically Blogs, Wikis, Journals and Podcasts.
Blackboard will be unavailable on Sunday, June19, 2011 from 7am until 11am for a Blackboard application upgrade. No other services will be affected.

This morning at approximately 4am the primary and back up air conditioning units that support the main data center failed causing core network and system outages campus wide. IT is working with Facilities and third party vendors to restore the AC units as soon as possible.
At this time the core services have been restored, these include MySJU, Blackboard, Email Services. Unfortunately student printing on campus is still unavailable. Our administrators are working to get this service up and running as quickly as possible.
