October was National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). Sponsored by the National Cyber Security Division within the Department of Homeland Security, the National Cyber Security Alliance has, since its inception in 2004, promoted educating the public about cyber security threats, how to recognize and prevent them, and how to remain safe while online.
Due to weather considerations, last month’s presentation, “Cyber Security: Protecting Your Data – Protecting Yourself” was cancelled. In order to promote the issue Cyber Security awareness here at SJU, We will offer three make-up sessions of the presentation on the following dates and times:
- Thursday, November 29th from 3:00PM – 4:00PM : North Lounge, Campion
- Tuesday, December 11th: 12:00PM – 1:00PM: Banquet Hall North, Campion
- Wednesday, December 12th from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: North Lounge, Campion
