The University’s primary supported Windows version remains Windows XP. Because of some known problems and the incompatibility of some software applications, Windows Vista and Windows 7 are NOT supported at this time. Students with systems running Windows Vista or Windows 7 will receive network support – including wireless access – only. All other technical issues will need to be addressed by the original computer vender (i.e. Dell or HP).
All business students are expected to use Windows XP, and business machines needing re-imaging will be re-imaged with Windows XP. All other computers running Windows on campus will also continue to use Windows XP.
