Online Inclusion Module

Within 60 days of your hire, all employees are expected to complete the module introducing inclusion concepts. See President Mark C. Reed's message to campus about the module. You will receive an email from with information about the module, as well as regular reminders to complete it.

Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL)

The Office of Teaching and Learning sponsors faculty-focused programs and promotes teaching workshops in which faculty reflect on their pedagogy and learn from the experience and diversity of expertise of colleagues.

Safe Zone Training

The Safe Zone program includes workshops that provide a foundational overview of issues affecting LGBTQ people and how to create a more welcoming climate at SJU.

Campus Climate Study

The climate assessment informs our understanding of the current state of equity and inclusion in the learning, working and living environment for students, faculty and staff. Visit the Climate Study website to learn more.

Lunchtime Discussions

Human Resources and the Office of Inclusion Diversity host monthly brown bag lunch discussions on a variety of topics. Contact oid@sju.edu to suggest a topic for discussion. Meetings are announced in Hawk Hill Today and the university calendar.

Inclusion & Diversity Committee

This committee is open to all who want to learn about and create inclusion and diversity initiatives. Meetings take place the second Tuesday of each month at 3:30pm in Campion 213. Contact oid@sju.edu for more information.

SJU Book Club

The SJU Book Club reads and discusses one book each semester to explore topics related to inclusion and diversity. Books and meetings are announced in Hawk Hill Today and the university calendar.
