The Bias Education Resource Team (BERT) functions as a complement to the University’s Critical Incident Response Team, which convenes in the wake of a critical campus incident to respond to the needs of students and the community. The BERT will convene on an as-needed basis, as determined by the Assistant Provost for Inclusion and Diversity, in consultation with appropriate University personnel. The composition of the BERT may depend on the specifics of a given situation.
