Sock Captains Wanted

Did you know that socks are the most needed item in homeless shelters and foster homes?

This year, the Mission Week Cradles to Crayons committee will be hosting a sock drive competition among SJU divisions. More information about donating is forthcoming about how you can donate, but we are currently looking for captains for the sock drive.

Please let us know if you’re willing to be the sock captain for your division/area by completing this link

The duties of the Sock Captains will include:

  • Notify your division/area about the sock drive
  • Inform people where they should drop off their (new only!) socks
  • Post flyers (provided by Cradles to Crayons committee) in your area
  • Provide a count of how many pairs of (new only!) socks are collected
  • Communicate with Cradles to Crayons committee to arrange a time to pick up the socks on Thursday, March 23rd 

We will need Sock Captains for the following divisions/areas:

Donation Bins for Cradles to Crayons

Donation bins will be located at the following locations:

  • Merion Hall
  • Post Learning Commons Atrium
  • Mandeville Hall
