Michael Solomon, Ph.D., Professor of Marketing, delivered the keynote address to the 400 delegates who attended the ANZMAC (Australian New Zealand Marketing Academy) meeting in Christchurch, NZ in November. The title of his talk was “The Brand that isn’t There:  Marketing Strategies for Virtual Platforms.”   Prof. Solomon was recently named to the Senior Advisory Board of the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice and also to the Advisory Board of the new journal Critical Studies in Fashion and Beauty. His article“Digital Identity Management:  Old Wine in New Bottles?,” will be published in the journal’s inaugural issue in early 2011.
