Today, September 26th, the contest to name the new portal went live. Here are the details:

The naming contest will run in two parts. Starting today until October 12th, we will accept all of your creative and unique submissions. Once voting ends on the 12th, we will review all of your submissions and send out the top 5 as chosen by members of the Portal Implementation Project team.

We will then ask you to vote once again on your favorite of the top 5 from October 16th to October 29th.  Each of the 5 nominees who submitted the winning names will win a $25 iTunes Gift Card.  In case of duplicate submissions, the first person to submit the name will win.

On October 31st, we will announce our winner and the person who submitted the winning new Portal name will win an iPad Mini!
