The replacement fee for any library item will be assessed at a minimum of $120. If the total replacement cost for an item exceeds $120, the patron will be charged the adjusted amount.
ILL patrons please note: renewal terms, fines, and fees for Interlibrary Loan materials are set by the lending library.
Reciprocal Borrowing Agreements
SJU students may borrow materials in person from member institutions of TCLC (Tri-state College Library Cooperative). SJU students must present proof of SJU affiliation and must request a letter of introduction from SJU library staff for use at TCLC libraries
University of Pennsylvania
Free courtesy borrowing from Penn's Van Pelt Library is available to Saint Joseph's University graduate students and faculty. SJU faculty or graduate students must obtain a signed Reciprocal Borrower's letter from the SJU Drexel Library circulation desk, and present it, along with the current ID, at Van Pelt Library, in order to activate the borrowing privileges. This is a reciprocal agreement, extending the same privileges to Penn faculty and graduate students in the use of SJU library's collection.
Jesuit Library Passport
Faculty may obtain borrowing privileges from any Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities library, by completing a AJCU Direct Reciprocal Library Borrower form available at the SJU library circulation desk. Take the completed signed form and your SJU ID with you to the participating library.
