FEATURING

Tom Brokaw

Tom Brokaw, award-winning journalist for NBC and author of the New York Times bestseller, The Greatest Generation, engages readers in conversation about the promise of the American Dream in the latest edition of his book, The Time of Our Lives: A Conversation about America. Over the past decades, transformations in values, education, public service, housing, the Internet, and more have changed the country since the time when Mr. Brokaw was growing up. He invites his readers to remember America’s great past, acknowledge both the exciting and unnerving changes occurring in its present, and usher in the possibility of a future where the American Dream is revitalized and once again attainable. As he recounts stories of Americans making a difference in their communities, and even some personal stories of his own family history, Brokaw writes,“What happened to the America I thought I knew?... I do have some thoughts, original and inspired by others, for our journey into the heart of a new century.” Please join us for this discussion about his hopeful and inspired message for a modern America that can achieve greatness once again.
