NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION:
Staff, Administrators and Full-time Faculty are invited to attend new employee orientation. Staff and Administrators will join the Human Resources team on the date outlined in your appointment letter. It is important to have submitted all employment forms prior to that day. The Office of Human Resources is located on City Avenue near the corner of 54th Street (building 47 on the campus map).
Faculty Orientation dates and locations will be communicated directly by the Provost's Office and generally are held in mid-August.
Benefits information can be found on the benefits section of the website. An in-person overview will be provided during your new hire orientation. You will be able to make your benefits selections within the first two weeks of employment.
EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK AND UNIVERSITY POLICIES:
Once you are assigned an SJU user account, you will need to log into The Nest where you will have access to the Employee Handbook. You will be prompted to acknowledge the handbook contents and certain policies as well as complete online training programs.
