Student Employment @ SJU

All Student or Federal Work Study Positions are posted within the Handshake platform and managed by the Career Development Office, here.

Once you have accepted an offer for a student or federal work study position at SJU, complete the paperwork here and bring it to the Office of Human Resources (HR) located at 215 City Avenue (next to Wendy’s). To encourage physical distancing we ask that you come prepared with your supporting information for your I-9 verfication and completed packet.  Please enter the office through the main entrance. We will be serving one student at a time.  If you see more than two people in the waiting area, please wait outside, until we can assist you. Our student walk-in hours are:

Monday -  1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Tuesday - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Wednesday - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Thursday - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Friday - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

 

  Please note you may not begin working until you have submitted all of your paperwork and using outdated paperwork could delay your start date.
