Targeted Online “Newspaper”

Looking for a way to keep information on your website current? Check out the Paper.li site.  This platform allows you to create an online newspaper by selecting RSS feeds on particular topics. The feeds update and publish daily. Mike McGrann (Management, Managing Human Capital) is using this for the Family Business Initiative site at: http://www.sju.edu/int/academics/centers/fbe/articles.html

The site is free, although for a minimum monthly fee branding is available.

Blackboard 9

A reminder! On December 26th and 27th, Blackboard will be upgraded from Service Pack 7 (SP7) to Service Pack 9 (SP9). During those two days there will be no access to Blackboard.  Other services will not be impacted during this upgrade. Be sure to look for upcoming training sessions on the new features of BB 9, if you have not already enrolled in one.

When preparing for your classes next semester, consider integrating Web 2.0 tools into the curriculum, where appropriate.  Watch this video, which demonstrates how to do this in the new upgraded Blackboard platform.
