Just a reminder…there is an On Demand Help and Learning Catalog in every Blackboard course site. It is located on the My Institution page. This site has a wealth of information on assessment, communication and collaboration, building your course, Blackboard tools, etc. Tutorials are available in video and PDF format. There are resources here for both faculty and students.

Thank you to Ira Yermish (Decision & System Sciences) for sharing this video clip with us. His son, Howard, an adjunct faculty member and Internet Marketing Strategist, gives a great presentation on how to create an excellent presentation. The clip is a little over an hour and well worth your time.
It’s not too late to register for this valuable faculty development session.
Would you like to know more about teaching online synchronous sessions? Or how to engage students in online group presentations? Ginny Miori will cover the use of Wimba and the capabilities instructors have to engage students in positive online learning experiences. These sessions are not only about sharing information, but about drawing students into the program, giving them a sense of belonging to the class despite the distance. We will discuss techniques to generate this involvement.
The session will also include a short Q&A session on the copyright resources available to SJU faculty, hosted by Mary Ann Strecker-McMenamin (ERDLC), and Anne Krakow (Drexel Library) . Take this opportunity to have your questions answered during the forum. Email questions to email@example.com prior to March 1st. Both Mary Ann and Anne can address specific or general questions on copyright, ejournals, and e-reserves. A list of questions and answers will be made available for future reference after the session. As many know, Mary Ann shared a concise and informative tutorial on copyright at the December Camtasia training. If you missed that session, or wish to view the video again, check out: http://librarytoolkits.sju.edu/copyright.
