In order to provide an efficient and safe move-in process, students will register for a 1-hour move-in appointment. Students not participating in Drop and Go have received an email to their SJU email account with more information about this process and instructions to secure a move-in appointment through the SJU housing portal.
- Students may be assisted by up to two family members/helpers during their move-in appointment. Due to physical distancing needs, we are unable to provide physical assitance with carrying items or moving in activities.
- Due to limited move-in times and continually changing needs related to COVID-19, students are encouraged to pack light and bring only necessary items to campus this year.
- Very limited carts and bins are available in move-in locations; not all students will have access to these community resources. We strongly encourage students and families to bring dollies, carts, and other supplies that will help them with their move-in process.
Note- Fall Semester 2020 begins on Monday, August 24.
Drop & Go
In order to physically-distance move-in and provide students and their families some flexibility in arriving to campus, we will need many of our students to participate in a "Drop and Go" process before move-in weekend. This process will allow students to receive temporary access to deliver most of their items to their room prior to their move-in day. Drop and Go appointments will begin on August 10. Students participating in Drop and Go will return to campus on August 22, also by appointment.

Early Arrival Requests
Early Arrival requests are for students who need to stay on campus prior to their published move-in date. This form is for those interested in applying for approval to arrive early on campus due to special circumstances. Residence Life will be approving students on a limited basis and for extraordinary needs.
