Assign access to users (parents, guardians, etc.) to discuss student account information

To give permission to someone such as a parent, spouse, or relative to discuss Academic Information, Financial Aid, and/or Account and Billing Information with someone from Saint Joseph’s University, please do the following:

Log into The Nest.

Go to the Tuition & Aid page.

Under Payment Options and Information, select “Allow parents access to discuss tuition account information”.

Select Parent/Guardian Access to Information.

Add Parent button.

Complete the form by selecting what information you are granting access to be shared. Create a password that would be shared with whoever will be granted access. They should share this password with someone from Saint Joseph’s University to verity that information can be shared with this individual.

Be sure to save your changes. Please note that you may change your selections at any time.


Financial aid showing as pending

Federal and state aid may not be applied to student accounts until the first week of classes; therefore these funds will appear as pending on your Tuition account. If you are a first time borrower of Federal Direct Loans, please complete the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling now to assure disbursement of funds.

Loan fees associated with Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized loans and Direct PLUS loans

This amount will be deducted from the total amount taken by the government and the net amount will show on a student’s bill.

Program Description Loans made to eligible undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need to help cover the costs of higher education at a college or career school.   • Select: Accept/Decline Financial Aid Award (Right side of the page)
  • Select “Award”
  • Select “Award Aid by Year”
  • Select appropriate aid year
  • You will need to read each tab before you can accept award offer
    • Select “Resources/Additional Information” and complete the Cash Management Statement.
    • Select Terms and Conditions
      • Only if your are selected for verification will you need to accept the statement before you can accept your aid.
    • Select “Accept Award Offer

  • Please review your award package and accept the full amount or partial amount of your award offer.
  • If your anticipated enrollment is different than what is currently packaged please note accordingly in the comment box provided.
