At the Airport (only for students who have reserved airport transfer service)
Where will I meet my driver?
If you are on an international flight, your driver will be waiting for you just outside International Arrivals after you have cleared U.S. Immigration and Customs. If you are on a domestic flight, your driver will meet you at the baggage claim area.
What if my arrival time or flight changes?
Please call our Airport Pick-up driver, Susan McKelvey from a pay telephone at 1-610-585-6480. Give her your new airline, flight number and arrival time into Philadelphia International Airport.
What if I cannot find my driver?
If you cannot find Susan McKelvey, please call her from a pay telephone at 1-610-585-6480 and let her know where you are. She will advise you where to wait for her. Susan will be carrying either an ELS Language Centers sign or a sign with your name spelled in English characters.
What if I try and still cannot find my driver?
If you still cannot find your driver after trying your best, please take a taxi to your homestay or your residence hall. If you are in a homestay, ask the taxi driver to take you to your homestay host’s address. If you have a confirmed residence hall reservation, ask the taxi driver to take you to the Rashford Hall at 5200 City Avenue. Upon arrival to your housing call Susan McKelvey at 1-610-585-6480 to tell her that you missed your transfer. If you have already paid for your airport pickup you will receive a refund on Monday morning.
What if my luggage is lost?
If the airline misplaces your luggage, Susan McKelvey will assist you in completing the forms needed for the airline to return it to you. This will take some time. Luggage is usually found and returned to students within 24 hours.
