Interdisciplinary Doctor of Education Leadership Ed.D.
Graduates of Saint Joseph's interdisciplinary doctor of education program for educational leaders (IDEPEL) are effective educational leaders marked by the vision, skills and values to move American education to prominence in tomorrow's world. Through an innovative partnership linking the learner, university faculty, practicing educational administrators and community leaders, the IDEPEL program provides unique learning opportunities for individuals from diverse fields whose focus is on educational leadership.
The doctoral program offers concentrations in both Basic K-12 Education and Higher Education. Graduates of the IDEPEL program have found successful careers as educational leaders at public, parochial, and private K-12 systems, higher education institutions, industry, and nonprofit organizations.
Graduate Masters Degrees
M.S. Educational Leadership and Administration
The M.S. in Educational Leadership and Administration program is a 30-credit master’s program for aspiring education leaders that can be pursued in conjunction with one or more of the following PA certifications: Administrative I Principal PK-12, Curriculum and Instruction Supervisor PK-12, and/or Supervisory I Special Education PK-12. Through the lens of equity, program participants learn to lead with their mind and heart to solve the complex educational challenges of the 21st Century. Candidates will understand the role of theory in transforming practice, communicating effectively, fostering school-community collaboration, and understanding schools as professional communities.
Courses can be taken entirely online, face-to-face, or a combination of both - with the exception of the Special Education courses and the fieldwork, which are offered in a hybrid format.

Organization Development and Leadership M.S.
The M. S. in Organization Development and Leadership at Saint Joseph's University is designed for students interested in leadership, organizational change, adult education and training, organizational psychology, organization development, and personal self-development. The experiential learning format allows students to immediately apply their classroom learning in the workplace.
