Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is pleased to offer several group options each semester. Groups meet weekly and are a great way to gain support, improve understanding of self and others, and learn new skills. Below are our offerings for the Fall 2019 Semester:
Bereavement Support Group
For any student who has lost a loved one or friend, in the recent or distant past. The hope is that together, we can explore ways of coping and foster mutual support as we go through the grief process. Contact Dr. Natalie Petyk for more information.

Drop in Mindfulness Meditation Sessions - No prior experience necessary
Take a brief time out during a stressful day to enjoy the benefits of meditation. Students who meditate report less anxiety, reduced stress, improved focus, and better health overall. Plus, meditation is typically enhanced in a group setting. Drop-ins encouraged, no committment needed.
