We offer some of the best-researched personality and interest assessments to help you discover who you are and what you’re most passionate about. Each assessment requires a meeting with a counselor to discuss your results.

FOCUS 2 Career Assessment
Average Time: 20 minutes
FOCUS 2 is Saint Joseph's University's online career and education planning system for helping you choose a major, build your career goals, and gather information on jobs. Take the assessment, then schedule an appointment with a career counselor to discuss your results as they relate to your major and career exploration.
New users: create a new account. Use the ACCESS CODE sjucareers when prompted

Myers-Briggs type Indicator (MBTI)
Average Time: 30 minutes
The MBTI measures psychological preferences in how you perceive the world and make decisions. You’ll answer questions related to how you deal with the world, how you gather information, and how you make decisions. The results provide a comprehensive description of your individual type and how it affects Career Exploration.

Average Time: 15 minutes
The My Next Move assessment is a free, online assessment that asks 60 questions about work activities that some people do on their jobs. It is part of an interactive site where you can search careers by key words or browse careers by industry.
