Search is the upperclassman retreat for students at Saint Joseph's University.
The weekend experience is one of renewal and reflection, with time to think, walk, pray, create, communicate, connect, laugh and rest. It is a weekend of personal and spiritual exploration.
Need time to rest? To think?
Hoping to reflect on your life - your personal identify, decisions?
Looking to find and make deeper meaning?
Seeking to build or or strengthen your relationship with God?
Open to nourishing a deeper faith life?
Whatever you are searching for, you are welcome.
A team of upperclassmen leaders share about their own journeys and create safe spaces for community and connection. The retreat is rooted in the belief that God is love.
October 19-21, 2018
February 8-10, 2019
March 29-31, 2019
The cost is $60. Email Jackie at firstname.lastname@example.org for information on financial scholarship assistance.
Search is the cornerstone upperclassmen retreat. Because space is limited on the retreat to 40 participants and there is high interest, retreatants are selected via lottery. To put your name on the wait list, use the registration button below, and you will be contacted when a space opens for you in the program. Participants will be notified one month prior to the retreat weekend of their invitation (i.e. Sept. 19th email invitation for the Oct. 19-21 retreat).
In the meantime, we invite you to consider CLC and the weekly Wednesday night Examen (9:45pm Wolfington Hall) as ways to grow personally, communally and spiritually.
Please email Jackie Newns at email@example.com or Peer Minister Cassandra Mariazzi '19 at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding your desires for spiritual formation.
