The Campus Ministry Associate is a full-time, ten-month position which offers a unique opportunity for a person who is interested in gaining experience in the work of college campus ministry. New Associates are hired in the spring to begin the following August, and the position is for one academic year. The Campus Ministry Associates will be responsible for the management and implementation of various programs, including community service and social justice activity, retreats, immersion programs, liturgical ministries and events, and/or small faith-sharing groups. A significant emphasis will be placed on intentional outreach to students. Additionally, those who hold the position will live in in housing provided by the university. Participants in post-graduate service programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications for the Campus Ministry Associate Program are generally available beginning in February for the following academic year, and will be accepted on a rolling basis. When available, the position will be listed on the SJU Office of Human Resources website.
