When it comes to taking a trip with friends it can be very difficult to coordinate everybody. When the summer comes around all you honestly want to do is get away. You want to go on that trip to beach, amusement park, or resort. Below I have listed some interesting and fun trips that you can take as college students with your friends.
Who wouldn’t’t want to go to the warm sunny beaches of Miami? If you are a college student this should be on the list of places to go. Miami is one of the hottest tourist destinations for college students in America. Miami is also a safe destination and one does not have to worry about getting a passport or leaving the country. South Beach also has great nightlife for students, where you can meet people from all over the world. Miami does not only have great nightlife and beaches, but also great shopping and food. With beaches being free, all you have to really worry about is food and hotels.
If you are looking to get away and out of the 50 states, San Juan, Puerto Rico is perfect for you. San Juan is a U.S. commonwealth and the U.S. dollar is the official currency and citizens of the United States do not require passport. San Juan is the perfect get away for any college student. It allows you to get a unique taste on food and culture. San Juan boasts some of the most pristine beaches along with many clubs, restaurants and casinos. It is rich in history, featuring colorful Spanish colonial buildings and 16th-century landmarks. You not only will have a great time, but you will learn a little bit as well. As for cost, San Juan hotels are not too expensive and for the most part they are usually on or close to the beaches. Going to San Juan will allow you to have the time of your life.
Panama City Beach
This is one of the hottest spring break destinations for college students. If you are in college you know how crazy it can get there. Afternoons of fun in the sun, with beach concerts by Luke Bryan or Kenny Chesney. Panama City also offers great clubs where you can dance until the wee hours in the morning. Panama City Beach is a must go to destination during spring break, however it can also be a great place to go during summer. The pace does slow down slightly during the summer but that does not mean the fun stops. With 20 miles of beach, crystal blue water, and a nightlife “where the party never stops” making Panama City an easy choice for college a students.
If you want to have the time of your life and you have a little extra money to spend then a foreign country this is the place for you. Everyone dreams to go to Australia, and if you and your friends save enough money you may. Rather then take several mini trips you can go for the big one. Many would call Australia one of the most beautiful places on earth. Experience Sydney, the Gold Coast beaches, and incredible rain forests. Feed a kangaroo, or swim in the South Pacific but remember during our summer it is winter in Australia with an average temperature in the month of July of 55°F. There are a lot of educational tours out there with varying prices, so do your homework and have fun!
This is probably my favorite on the list, and is the one that is the most fun. Who wouldn’t want to go to “The Happiest Place on Earth.” Along with your friends you will have the time of your life. Once you get there you will feel like a kid again. As you enter the park you will be in awe, from the Magic Kingdom to the Hollywood Studios your day will never be boring. Epcot is a favorite; you can try food and drink from countries all over the world. Downtown Disney, allows for staying up late, Bars, restaurants, concerts, movies, bowling or whatever you are in the mood for Downtown Disney appeals to all. There is no doubt Disney is a favorite of mine and will be one of yours as well!
